Need help w/ soaker shorts

Hi. I mostly just lurk, but these shorts are making me crazy to the point that they are about to be attacked with the yarn cutting scissors. I used the Holy Sheep pattern, which was super easy to follow. I finished the legs with a seed stitch, by accident. Anyway, after I used the Kitchener Stitch to graft the crotch(that alone took me four tries of doing and undoing) I attempted to seam up the legs. They look like a kindergartener did it. The problem is the next to the crotch on both sides there are little holes . Does anyone know how to fix this???

I love to knit, but hate doing the finishing. I have so many baby sweaters that are done but have no arm attached.LOL.

Thanks,
Andrea

Have you tried just sewing them shut? I really like using the mattress stitch for seems that go with the rows, but for everything else I just fudge it. Stuff would probably look better if I taught myself how to do it correctly, but life is too short. Good luck!

Yeah, just use the tails and sew them up. I usually do that from the outside so I can see the result. Happy knitting!
