Exhausted by insomnia...

I had insomnia with my first too around this time, but now that I have a dd who is waking at night as soon as I finally fall asleep, I am realllllly getting no sleep. I have tried herbal teas, reading before bed, stretching, rescue remedy...one big thing is that my legs are so soso soo jumpy. I have been taking Calcium and Mag before bed, and up until recently it helped. I am hot, uncomfortable and jumpy. I'm going mad.

Any advice, tips, empathy, prayers? Being pregnant in the summer sucks. :

I have the leg thing too that has been contributing to the insomnia. One thing that is helping is a hot bath right before bed, then wrapping my legs in recieving blankets...keeping them warm seems to help the restless leg.

Also, warm Ovaltine before bed helps me fall asleep at least for a good two hours. I still wake up every two hours or so, but it is a start...

I am sorry, I know how much that stinks!!
