My birth at Special Beginnings was the most positive experience of my life. I had some complications- water breaking 3 days before ctx with light meconium, but it was treated with...
My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
Much to my dismay it seems that lion brand yarns don't have a center pull. Is this correct or am I just getting skeins that don't have one that I can see?
I just bought some Lion Brand Homespun this week and it's got a center pull. In the past, sometimes I've had to pull out a glob of yarn from the center to find it.
reach into the skein from teh side (where the yarn all kind of twirls together) WAY inside, and pull on a thread, you'll usually pull out a big ball, soemwhere in it is the end
I can't speak for everyone, but the reason I prefer center pull is because I do not have to constantly free up yarn from around the skein. After several stitches, I have to unwind yarn from around the skein. I don't have to do this w/ center pull.

I had a skein of Fisherman's yarn, so I tried this a few minutes ago. MUCH better! LOL I had it wound up into two center-pull balls in a matter of moments rather than the 30 min it took when I did *not* find the end of the yarn in the middle.
