I'm am about to make my first attempt at kool aid dying some fisherman's wool and I'm not sure what to use to apply it with. I will be using 3 colors for a varigated yarn. Brush? Baby medicine dropper? Turkey baster?

Any other suggestions?

I just mix mine in a glasss measuring cup and pour it over.

I do use a turkey baster! :

I use the little sharp piece, too, (the injector?) so that I can get inside the skein.

I use the same plastic bottles I use for tie dying. Here at Dharma Trading. They work awesome for getting color right where you want it. Here is a pic of my dd in her soaker shorts I dyed using them: http://share.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=EeBNWLhk4aNngQ

HTH!

I will use a measuring cup, plastic squirt bottles I got with a tie dye kit, a turkey baster, or a basting brush depending on how I want it to look ( all one color, color touching, natural color between colors, etc).
