I sewed potty pants yesterday!!!

Woohoo! Yesterday I made two pairs of EC pants for dd!
We had some material lying around, so I took the plunge and used the online directions at http://cuddlebugg.com/misc/pants/pottypants.html
Our sewing machine needs some work , so I did them by hand, and it really wasn't too bad - only about 3 hours per pair, including nursing breaks! Instead of an elastic waist, I sewed the front together and use a diaper pin in back. Might made her a pair of potty jeans today!

has anyone had luck with split pants, boys, and the BB (at once)?

at night (maybe I'm not sitting him up tall enough) tinkle tends to get on the "inner thigh" area of our pants and then I have to take them off and either find something else (he seriously protests waiting to nurse) or go naked...naked is fine, but he gets cold b/c he REFUSES covers

any suggestions?
