Instructions on making cute fitted prefolds

like this

1. cut the prefold to desired shape (i used my own patern based on my fave fitted dipe)

2. serge or zigzag all around to prevent fraying

3. cut out fabric ( i used just 100% cotton in cute hawaiin print) using same pattern

4. put prefold and fabric RIGHT sides together and sew all the way around leaving abt 2-4 inch opening to turn diaper at the front

5. add the elastic to the legs and back making sure to pull the elastic tight as sewing and making sure to sew *outside* of the seam

6. turn diaper and fold fabric in carefully to topstitch the opening (topstitch all the way around if u prefer but make sure to go *around* the elastic

7. if u prefer, add aplix to the sides/tabs to make it side aplix, or to the front and sides for front closure or leave as is so u can still pin it

Hi, thanks for sharing. Would you mind telling me the measurements you used? I don't have any fitteds to use as a pattern, only the prefolds.

Thanks!
