they're driving me nuts too. i don't want to call anyone either. they all think i am going to tell them i had the baby. ugh. and i really hate the 'what are you going to do?' comments i get from induce-happy people or uninformed medical birth trusters.

When I was due with Lars I put a message on my answering machine that said, "Hi, you've reached Jennifer and Thor. Yep, just us, no baby yet! Forgive me for not answering the phone, but I'm trying to rest up since I know we have many sleepless nights ahead! We'll be sure to let you know as soon as he is here! Leave a message if you'd like!"

I start off every call to someone with, "Hi, it's Jennifer, no baby yet!"

lol..I was just thinking the other day how I should've told everyone I was due the end of august.... maybe next time I'll plan better

I'd also like to time it so I'm not delivering in July..in the desert....

Since my ds was early, many people expected this one to be early too. So, I've been relying on caller id and our outgoing message says something to the effect that we're still waiting for baby! I've still got 5 days 'til my due date and everyone asking already! Can't imagine what it'll be like if I pass my EDD!
