Hi wsquared 77,
I work from home selling a service called Prepaid Legal. What I sell is a membership that offers "legal insurance."
In a nut shell:
For $17 to $25 per month you get:
Unlimited phone consultations with a lawyer.
Phone calls and letters from your attorney on your behalf
Contract and document review
A free will
Trial defense services
Audit services
Motor Vehicle services
and much more that I don't care to post up on this board because this isn't an advertisement board.
Anyway here is my story: I learned about the company after I had my twins. I was in the same boat as you. My husband is a computer programmer and got laid off after the babies were born. Some one told me about Prepaid Legal and I learned more about the product and loved it. When I called the guy selling it he seemed so "sales man like" that I got turned off and decided not to do it. Because I thought it was a scam. Then months later...and after peanut unemployment checks. I decided I needed to start a business selling my jewelry that I make so that we could have a second income and I could work from home and stay with the babies. I took a small business course and learned I would need a CPA and a lawyer ...etc. So little by little I gathered everything. I decided to purchase the membership from this Prepaid Legal Company which gives you access to consult with a lawyer and provides you with services from a lawyer for small businesses (" Legal Insurance"). After buying my membership I decided to sell the Prepaid Legal service myself and forget about the jewelry business. Because Prepaid Legal would pay me more.
The company is legitimate and they are on the New York stock exchange under PPD. They are the 33rd fastest growing company on the NY stock exchange. They have been featured in numerous financial magazines. They are now where medical insurance was years ago. In fact Financial Analyst quoted, "... sounds like healthcare coverage before it turned into a trillion dollar industry". I am not a sales person at all but I guess I can sell something when I think it's good. I hope this info helps you. It is kind of like being an insurance broker with an at home office. I have met a lot of people with success doing this. Don't forget it is work and is not one of these "get rich quick" deals. You do need to follow there training. And every city across the US has training places. If you would like more info go to my website:
