Need recommendations on natural baby products...

I'd love to hear what works well for you all. We're planning to do soap/shampoo/diaper cream very minimally on Emi, but I would like to have some on hand for the odd occasion it's needed. We're using cornstarch instead of baby powder. I'd prefer something WAHM made & definitly 100% natural/nontoxic. I've heard good things about Burt's Bees baby line -- bar shampoo, diaper cream, etc -- but I'd love alternatives. After reading a link on the diapering board I'm seriously considering skipping traditional diaper cream all together and using calendula cream by Wadela.

My personal favorite is California Baby stuff. I've tried Burt's Bees and while I really love some of their stuff, the baby stuff is too fragrant IMO. I really like how their liquid soap is tear free. We just got some more tonight at our local Whole Foods

The only thing I would caution you about w/cornstarch is that it's food for yeast. Yeast rashes cornstarch !!!

With two little ones, we've never used any baby powder, lotion and only have used Burt's Bee's (I agree about the scent) diaper cream a few times. The Waleda line is good (I'd called them for free samples awhile back), as is California Baby....really just a personal preference.

In the back of Mothering mag, there are some excellent resources for WAHM stuff, too. Good luck with everything---sounds like you've definitely got the right idea!!!!!
