I need help (sewing machine problem)

Last night I was sewing a diaper and the machine quit sewing-again. So, I did what I usually do and cleaned out the broken threads, re threaded and it still won't work. I can't even get the turn knob to work, it will not turn. I just got the machine and I'm bummed that I may have broken it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Did you get it from a store or 2nd hand?
Did you open up the little door that swings to see if you can see why it won't turn?

I feel your pain mama! I just bought a serger and had to send it back for repair cause something needs to get adjusted

It's brand new! What do you mean little door? On my old one (it was from 1967) the whole top swung open, is that what you mean?

Yeah, I've got a little brain freeze
My "door" is on the left side, where the lamp is (the light bulb)
But since it's new, I'd call the dealer. They'll most likely know right away what the problem is.
