chuck palahniuk fans?

i am a HUGE chuck palahniuk fan. i've read most of his books, except 'fugitives and refugees' and the newest one, 'stranger than fiction.' i went down the library to get it and someone apparently stole it . i even read his short story in 'playboy,' which was a bit much.

anyone else? most people think of him as just violent, based on 'fight club,' or overly sexual ('choke') but there are so many lines from his books that have stayed with me. i him!

I love him too, though I didn't really like "Diary" that much. I haven't read Lullabye yet. It came out when DD was tiny and I wasnt reading a SIDS related book when I had a newborn.

Survivor is still my fave, though Fight Club is a close second. Another friend who is a big fan said his non-fiction isn't that good.

He seems to have lost his edgy social commentary. I'll read his next one, but I hope it is better than Diary. I didn't care for the supernatural element. It could probably make a good movie though.

i agree, 'diary' wasn't great. 'survivor' is my favorite, too.
