Any symptoms yet? - Page 2

I'm at about 5 1/2 weeks and feeling pretty good so far! One thing I noticed from the very beginning was that I was so thirsty! I'd never heard of that as a pregnancy symptom but I guess it is. And of course I'm peeing a lot because of that. I'm feeling a little tired but I'm hoping it's just the summer lazy/tired feeling and I won't be so tired once I go back to school. I'm really going to need my energy then.

No nausea yet and I'm hoping that stays away because I'm a high-school teacher and I really don't want to be running out of my room every 5 minutes to throw up! But my mom said she was really nauseous with me but never threw up. My stomach does feel kind of funky in the mornings though, like a cross between being really hungry and really full at the same time. So weird.

No real cravings or aversions yet but I can go from being totally full to being hungry in about 5 minutes. Last night I could barely finish dinner but 5 minutes later I was hungy and eating a bowl of cornflakes.

It is kind of interesting to see what's going on and hear what's happening to others at the same stage.

Well my symptoms seem to be getting stronger and more consistent, which makes sense at 6w5d. Advice: don't take a long road trip (like 20 hours over 2 days) with m/s. Bad combo. Still haven't thrown up, but my m/s is making me not want to eat anything except bland carbohydrates and I usually cook everything spicy so this is definitely causing a problem! I'm definitely feeling better about this pregnancy as the symptoms continue and get stronger!

First time posting here...I'm 5 weeks and 5 days along and my symptoms are identical to yours LoveMyLife- noticed early on that I was excessively thirsty...then strangely hungry, not at all, then suddenly starving, then suddenly full.
I am a teacher too and start in about a couple of weeks so I'm hoping I can avoid the morning sickness altogether.
I had a bit of brown spotting last night and this am, anyone else have this?...the nurse said it could be normal, just to watch it....no cramping at all which I had more of last week so I hope that it is good...

Soooooooooo tired today. Really, really, really tired.

My daughter's third birthday was yesterday and we hosted a party at our house. We were all so exhausted afterwards that dd and I took a 2 hour nap, but when I woke up I was just as exhausted as I was before the nap. Went to bed at 9:30 and didn't get up 'til around 7 and I am still. so. tired. I am hopeful that this is just a result of over-doing it this weekend preparing for and then recovering from the party. I don't know how to function feeling this drained...

Howdee All,

I just got my BFP yesterday & I'm 4w+2d, which puts us at about April 24th.

I had some spotting yesterday, and actually off and on since cd19 so I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.

Otherwise, I'm tired, sweaty, bloated, and peeing all the time! Fun, eh!? Oh, and kinda queasy too. I didn't have any breast tenderness or nausea with #1 so we'll see where things go from here!

I second that it's good to hear what others are experiencing too!

aprildawn- I know exactly how you feel! When I was pg with baby #2, my son was very rambunctious (sp?). he was 13mon when i found out i was pg. it was hard to get him to understand not to jump on mommy and to be careful around me. in fact... i never got him to understand that. LOL! sometimes they just don't get it. now that i'm pg with baby #3, he is older (3yrs) and is able to control himself because i've explained to him there's a baby in my tummy. and he is so sweet that sometimes when he catches himself being a little too rough, he stops himself and says something about "a baby in you tummy?". my daughter, on the other hand, who is 23 months old understands a lot of vocabulary but is still not gettin' the whole baby-in-tummy thing and why she has to be careful. All I can say is, keep re-explaining and keep your guard up. Surprisingly, there were many times where, when i was pg with baby#2, my son hit me in the stomach and it did no harm. I think our bodies respond pretty well. Just keep your guard up, but don't stress too much over it. If it makes you feel better, maybe you can sit with a pillow over you when your daughter is getting a little rough! (I know your post was about your daughter jabbing your sore breasts, but i thought i'd throw in my experience about my very active son... I figured it all related and thought the info might be pertinent to your situation anyway.)
Congrats on the new baby.
