They were at 8,769 with my 2nd blood draw 2 weeks ago. Today's number was in the 3,000 range. There was no cardiac activity, and we are waiting on nature to finish her course.

If you guys don't mind, I would like to pop in every now and then.

hey Patchfires, looking for a doula? lol

Anyway, we plan to try again once I have bled and maybe had one cycle after that. I'm not sure howlong I want to wait, or if I do. Or if dh does.

I'll miss you guys, and when your spring blossoms arrive give them an extra kiss from Miss Amanda.

Thanks Raven, I'd like to live vicariously through ya'll, besides, I have to take like the woman I am, I can't take it 'lying down' so to speak.

LeShea, I know, and our EDD will be hard, but I will pray for your sweet blossom to be born healthy (along with everyone elses of course)

Oh, sweetie...

Hopefully you'll have a nice big bellyful come March, just waiting a couple more months to be ready. And definitely pop in sometimes!

Oh shame. That sucks. I don't know my levels and don't want to know since I don't think I could stand knowing things weren't right and just waiting for the inevitable. Big hugs and I'm sure you'll be nice and round in no time!

Hi Amanda. My little one is in God's pocket now too. I've been bleeding for a week, so it may be about over by now. I was at nine weeks and really had no idea how hard this could be physically, much less emotionally. I think we'll try again too. Best of luck to you.

Gale Force and DoulaMommy,

You were 2 of the first people that expressed kind words after my loss a few weeks ago. I am so sorry to read that this has happened to you both.

I am just so sorry.

Thank you ladies. It's been about 10 days and I am just about done bleeding and I am feeling much better. That's the funny thing about all of this -- physically I went from tired, hungry, a bit queezy and now I am almost back to my normal self. We will be planting a memorial tree on the west side of our house -- probably a black walnut. It will grow very large and become a big part of our westward view of the Sierra foothills (we also see a bit of the California coastal range from there).

Amanda,

what day did you start bleeding? I started bleeding on Wednesday, it's very slow now, almost looks like the final day of any normal period. I'm still VERY tired, although I did have a ton of blood loss, they'll be adding a 2nd blood count to my hCG on Monday, hopefully it's up enough to avoid the transfusion.

How lovley that you've chosen a walnut tree. I am looking for a small angel statue to place in our garden. I'd like to keep her out of the sun so it doesn't crack, but I'll take what I can get.

God bless you,

So sad for both of you. My prayers and thoughts go out to you. I live in daily fear of miscarriage due to on-and-off spotting, but the grace with which you ladies share your stories and support each other is heartening.

Amanda -- I'm on day 12 now, started spotting then bleeding on July 27th. I bled for a week, passed the sack on day 5 (the main cramps were on day 2, so that's wierd) and continued to bleed through day 8 or 9 but not very heavily. I've been spotting the last two days, so I think it's about over. I will get my hcg levels checked again sometime next week to make sure they are down. I am pretty confident that it's over, thank goodness. But I realize I have been focusing so much on the physical recovery that I have allowed no time for the emotional recovery.

Thank you Serina. Best of luck to you getting through the daily madness.
