Experienced charters...

Tell me I'm being silly. (Link to my chart in my signature...)

I had what I *knew* was implantation spotting on 5 dpo. Accompanied my a temp drop, but I know that is considered neither here nor there by some.

Then, on 12 dpo, I had some more spotting which I chalked up to either (1) impending arrival of AF or (2) after sex spotting (which I've never had, but there's a first for everything).

That's all fine and dandy, but then yesterday I glanced at my chart (I'm still temping just because I want to get to 18 dpo- I'm a dork) and saw another temp dive. One that coincided with the second spotting episode. And, thinking back, the spotting was exactly the same as what I experienced at 5 dpo-- just one glob of bright pink CM, then some residual brown stuff later on (the brown last an extra day the first time).

So, here's my silly question- twins? Two implantations? Is that crazy?

No twins in my family, btw. I have some suspicion that dd started out as a twin (I had two placentas-- a regular-sized one and an itty bitty one, complete with a tiny cord... no baby though!), but no real reason to suspect I'm carrying twins now other than the funny chart pattern (took many early tests after the first spotting, didn't test pos until the day of spotting episode #2-- I would guess my betas weren't particularly high b/c the lines were verrrrry faint when I did get my BFP). What d'ya think?

nooooo idea. i was a charting novice when i got pg.

but, dh and i were just talking last night about "what if it's twins?" no reason, just speculating.

i'm eager to hear what others think.

I'm sorry, I can't really offer any insight. I hope that is is if that's what you guys want, though! I hope someone knows more about this stuff and can help...

I've been out of town for awhile, so I don't know if you're still looking for an answer, but here's my thought. If you do have 2 ovulations, they would have occurred within 24 hours of each other, so I think 2 implantations 7 days apart is highly unlikely. Just my 2 cents.
