I have been wanting to read some of her books for a while now. I finally broke down and bought The Covanent Saturday afternoon. It's easy to read and has a nice story line so far, I think I'm up to chapter 7.
I will continue reading this series inbetween finishing the Left Behind series by LaHaye and Jenkins. Are her other books as good?

I LOVE her books, all of them that I have read have been wonderful. I just finsihed the Covenant and just got the second and third books in the series. Can't wait to read them, eventhough I did read the descriptions on amazon, could not help myself. I really like her style of writing, she makes me want to go amish and simplify!

Your welcome. And while I have not read the book you are referring to, I do remember that the child was supposed to be

alive. So if they say it is dead now maybe it died after taking that first breath. They never did go into detail in the first book about what became of the baby. I thought for sure that the Dr and his wife were going to take it in themselves?? But then in book 2 they make reference to the fact that they go to see him again for something and there is no mention of a baby and I think they would be suspicious if all of a sudden they had a baby, kwim?

Okay, how do you access the spoiler??? I read the first one b/c it came through on the e-mail notice of a reply. But on-line here they are blacked out.

I'm just about to finish bk#1, I knew it. I'm just don't know if I can wait until my overstock.com order for bk#2and3 comes in. I went to the Library, but #2 was checked out.

To access the spoiler you just highlight over it and it will show up.

I am really curious to hear from suse again

suse I see no reference to the hankie in book two does that happen in book 3? The only reference to the hankie is when the sister mentions one that "could" be the one she gave her sister, thus making us think that the Dr wife has it, right? Is that what you were referring to?
