Plug for Breastfeeding in Coverage of Peterson Trial

Sometimes breastfeeding gets mentioned in the strangest places.

Today, I was watching a press conference with Gloria Allred, attorney for Amber Frey (mistress of accused murderer Scott Peterson and "star" witness for the prosecution, in case you've been under a rock for the last 18 months ). Amber began testifying this morning. Gloria Allred said in the press conference that she wanted to explain (to the press) why the break in court was so long this morning. She said Amber is breastfeeding and that during the break, Justin (her infant son) had his breakfast and then she changed his diaper.

When I heard she was testifiying and heard she also had a baby, the first thing I thought was "Is she breastfeeding?" Glad she is and glad that she is getting breaks from the court room. I 'm sure after nursing her baby she releases some of the tension of the day

no, it's not his. she has a new boyfriend. he was in court with her and the baby today, according to allred.

so great to hear Amber is nursing! I feel so bad every time I think about Lacy, though, and her unborn baby
