I'm hoping for a home birth for my next pregnancy (first child is now 4 mos - I like to plan ahead - lol!!)
I'm 38, and in good health. The only complication of my first pregnancy was pre-term labor at 32 weeks. Brought on by a tremendous amount of job related stress at that time. (no longer employed, or insured either, so a home birth would help in that way, too)
I knew NOTHING going into my first birth at the hospital, I actually didn't realize how bad it was until I started getting involved in online groups like this, and reading how wonderful giving birth can be:-)
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Providing we can concieve again, am I too old to attempt a home birth? Also, we live down the street from the hospital, literally a rocks throw away...
Thanks,
Tracy
