Finally need a nursing necklace!

I'm looking for a nursing necklace a 6-mo-old can be entertained with. We've hit the distractable nursing phase already!

I got mine from Konur'sMom here. dd loved it - it's rainbow colored with big animal beads that dd could hold.

man! I saw the cutest one not too long ago and didnt bookmark the site. It was primary colors and had animals and beads on it. very cute but not tacky, kwim? Sorry, no help!

I was just thinking about this today.. it's so annoying when Vincent punches my breast right when I'm having a letdown.. ouch! I definetely need a nursing necklace for him!

Good luck!
My guy strangles me, strangles himself, tries to bite it, loops it around his hands, his ears, his feet... it's TOO distracting.

(Do you ever think you are watching an episode of "Whose Line Is It Anyways" when you watch your child do everything possible with a toy? LOL)

That being said he really loves his necklace from Lori's Nursing Necklaces and wears it for play all the time. It's an especially cute accessory in public and a good carseat toy.

I loved them cause they're child oriented. My friends have nursing necklaces that are like adult jewellery and they don't seem to work as well.

hey, cool!!! Thanks for all the great references!

Funny thing happened today when someone ordered a necklace. I ask in my order form where they heard about me and I actually had a woman ordering today who had heard about me from another mom when they were on a walk for breastfeeding last weekend. How cool is that! Its wild to have people talking about me off line.

i just went to a craft store a couple days ago and bought some beads to make one myself. i really like it. so does my dd. it has faux bone and dark wooden beads so it has a nice contrast to it and looks kind of tribal.

I went to the local rock shop and bought a whole bunch of interesting little smooth stones and strung them as a necklace. DD loves it and the necklace has an interesting, eclectic look.

I am another nursing necklace designer here. I make Twiddle Baubles nursing necklaces and use the plastic safety clasps so the kids can't stranghle themselves or mommy for that matter. They really are a great device for distracted nursers....I still use mine 15 months later.
