Anyone sewn overnight dipes/training pants for toddler?

Hi! I'm wanting to make some overnight diapers for my 2 1/2 yo dd who is mostly potty trained. Has anyone used the New Conceptions Training Pants pattern from sewshoppe.com? Any fabric recommendations?

We've been using Fuzzi Bunz and I want to make something like Mother of Eden's Overnight Undies. I'm thinking I can use the training pant pattern and just add an extra layer for more absorbency.

I did. I took apart a pair of panties and used them as a pattern. I used 4-5 layers of flannel or 2 layers of hemp fleece. Enclosed the elastic and put snaps on the sides. They work much better than the store ones I have.
