I am a kinda chunky girl but my sister gave me a bunch of Mat. clothes and I seem to be showing at least a bit in them. It is kinda cute- but I am at that stage where people go "is she fat or not far along??" Anyway, I wanted to know if I was the only one- with DD I look this way at 14 weeks and I am nearly 10 weeks this time.

We went to a family barbecue today, and I'm 9 weeks pg tomorrow .. DH's aunt asked me "So, sometime in the spring maybe?" I was like "huh?" "The BABY, silly!" We hadn't even told ANYONE yet lol
I need bigger jeans I think.

From what people tell me, I can't really tell - people "accused" me of being pregnant months before I actually was because of all the "leftovers" from my last pregnancy :LOL
But I can't fit in some of my clothes because of the tummy and it is kind of sticking out. I am 10 1/2 weeks

I look very pg too. I'm in all mat pants but have been sticking to mostly oversized shirts... I can't find any of my summer mat shirts and don't want to buy since the season's almost over... I can't wait for it to cool off round here! LOL I'm SO excited! I found these incredibly comfy jersey pj bottoms at Walmart and will fit in the XL likely through to the end of this pg... LMAO Ok, maybe I'm kidding myself, but at least for several more months!
They're sooooo comfy I can hardly stand it! :LOL

ETA : in a month or so they'll have the stretch terry pants again in their sleepwear or active-wear dept, and I wore those for ALL 9mo too! (I got a large, which actually turned out too big, but I STILL wore them non-pg too)

yes, i'm showing...also just enough that i know & other people can wonder if i'm just chunking up. and that's actually what we're hoping for since we're not telling anyone for a couple/few more months! lol! it's not my norm to hope people think i'm overweight! it's just in my belly/breasts, but enough that my regular clothes are uncomf in the waist and i had to buy a new bra.

They're the stretchy jersey print. They have mickey mouse, tinker bell, betty boop, that kat..., and ehyore. The XL are huge on me! It's funny cause if I didn't pull them up like a full panel mat pant I'd trip on the legs. LOL If I weren't pg I'd get a large but I tend to look like I'm carrying twins :LOL so I wanted LOTS of room. LOL I just wish they came in solids so I could get away with wearing them out... though I probably still will to the commissary and such!
They might actually but the kids were done shopping so I grabbed the mickey and the eyore (how the heck do you spell that?!) and ran for the register.
I'll keep an eye out for the terry that sounds comfy too!
Where does everyone like to buy their maternity clothes from? I didn't buy much with my last but I'd like to be able to go to church and not be embarassed!
But I need stuff that's flexible and can be dressed up or down.... kwim?

I've kind of willed the belly to stay down until at least the second week in Sept.
My sister is getting married on the 5th and I need to still fit into a bridesmaid's (matron!?) dress!!!
This is my third pregnancy and I thought for sure I'd be popping out all over the place, but not so.
My boobs are the only thing that have grown!
I can look down and see that things are starting to look different. I had a section with my first and my scar is beginning to look weird and puff out above so maybe things are starting to happen? I also get the intestine thing going on in the a.m. (see the lumpy uterus thread) so I know things are growing beneath.
I almost can't wait for my belly to grow!!
Take care ladies!
Karen

I'm showing something, but I don't think its the baby.
I've gained about five pounds now (this is week 11) and I've developed a little pot belly. This is my first, so I'm probably not truly "showing". I told my boss last week and he said something like "I thought so, but I didn't want to ask" so I guess I must look at least vaguely PG.

I'm not really showing yet either, but I'm starting to get the feeling that my pants aren't going to fit much longer....maybe another month, tops. I think that things are "shifting", as I can start to feel my uterus above my pubic bone. My husband thought that I was "looking a little preggo" yesterday, which is cute. I didn't have the heart to tell him it was my intestines.

Not yet - I'm due around 3/20 and this is my second baby so I sort of expect to show any time now. I've been wearing looser clothes lately, but today I wasn't and my sitter looked at me and asked when I'll start to show. It actually cheered me up quite a bit. I might have another few weeks.

I'm really bloated so yah, it shows, but to people who don't know I'm pg, it probably looks like I stopped going to the gym and started pigging out.
I did buy two great pairs of mat pants which I'm really enjoying. So comfy.

At 10 weeks my belly suddenly just popped out...the top part, right under my boobsis very firm and bouncy, kwim? Definitely pg belly, rather than juts bloated or ate too much. it's quite a shock to me. this happened at 5 months with ds, now I'm not even 12 weeks and I'm in maternity clothes!

I just got my first maternity clothes in the mail yesterday-a pair of jeans and a pair of corduroy pants. I'm SO much more comfortable! I'm still not really showing, just bigger than my regular pants.
Last night was funny-we were out with a friend whose mother has Crohn's disease, and I mentioned the pants that I was wearing-with a demi panel. Her eyes lit up, because her fashion-conscious mother was having to wear stretchy pants all of the time because of her condition, and she thought that the demi panel might allow her to wear "regular" clothes again, and make her feel better about herself. So I lifted my shirt to show her the top of my pants, and she said "your belly is sticking out alreay!!!" She hadn't really noticed, though, even though I was wearing a tight shirt. It was really cute.
I have a feeling that the next few weeks are going to bring some dramatic changes, based on where my uterus is sitting right now...

Im due March 9th and Im wearing my old maternity shorts for 2 weeks now. I have had alot of bloating/gas/nausea and have felt like I was showing from 6 weeks. I put a maternity T shirt on today and felt dumpy in it, its too big but my regular shirts are too small because of my boobs and my belly. Ive been exhausted too, and haven't been dedicating much time to my appearence overall.
A good tip was to pack away all my skinny clothes now, so I will be less frustrated going through drawers of clothes that do not fit.
I didnt show until 5 months with my first, and then I popped so this in between stage wasn't an issue.
