I'm rather new here so I hope this isn't considered too tacky! (I'm hoping that it will be okay if an at-home mama does a little self-promo)
So what started as a silly idea on a cross-country flight was born into High Horse, a newsletter for parents who like to think we’re better than most. It’s a humorous mini-zine chock full o’ cheap and free things to do with kids, recipes, observations and more for the parents like me floating somewhere between mainstream and radical. Hear what the critics have to say:
“I really like High Horse this month, hon” -my mom
“HIGH HORSE ROCKS!” -Kristin H., Pennsylvania
“Keep ‘em coming” --my friend Eileen
‘You don't know how nice it is to have some great ideas right at my fingertips! With two babies, essentially two full time jobs and no daycare, we just don't have a lot of time and it's tempting to default to things that are convenient and that don't take a lot of thinking (either snacks or entertainment), so having great ideas listed out is such a HUGE help.” Susan G. Atlanta, Ga.
August’s theme is unspoken truths in parenthood. September is ways to fit saving the earth into your busy schedule.
