Need nb head measurements

Hey mama's! I am crocheting a layette for baby on the way and found a really cute pattern for a hat, but the measurements are for a 6-12 month old. Can some of you with newborns ( or those that remember..) get me some head circumference measurements so I can actually use this pattern?

My DD's head was 14.5" at birth.

I don't remember what ds' head was, but isn't 16" pretty standard?

Well, 10 cm is about 4 inches which makes for slightly more than 12.5 inches circumference at birth.. that's theoretically what the baby measures given that the mama has dilated to '10'. What with molding and all, I'd say the baby reshapes up to 13-15 inches around?

Indigo's head was 12.5" at birth.

Average nb head size is 15" and that's what Andrew's was at birth.

My DS head was 15 inches (28cm) at birth and the midwife said this is at the high end of normal

I just had a baby 3 weeks ago and asked my MW this very question. She said the average newborn head is around 13-1/2". My DS was 10lbs with a giant head, and his was 14-1/2. My new girl was smaller than her brother and had an average size head, 13-1/2".

Average is like 13" I thought. :LOL My son's were 14.5" and 14". But they have big heads... always and forever.

Actually, average is 13.25". My kids were both in the 99% for head circumference, DS#1 was 14.5", DS#2 was 15" (and is now 17 at 2 mo), gigantic noggins like their Poppa
