Is this possible?

I have some really old HHs that the velcro is falling off of, instead of replacing the velcro with new velcro, I would really just like to add snaps. Is that possible? Does anyone know a good way to do it? Any advice would be great.

You need and snap press or a snapsetter. The snaps at your local fabric store have short prongs and won't stay in. Otherwise I don't see why it wouldn't work.

you can definitely make them snaps, but definitely use good quality ones. you might get some wicking issues in the front waist when you take the velcro off...from the stitch holes, so i recommend using a scrap of fleece in there (on the inside of the dipe) and just stitching it along the original stitches. plus it will give your snaps a bit more to bite into and make it more stable.
good luck with this!
