You know who you are!!! LOL. Anyone getting excited about the season premier?? I read they decided not to write in the pregnancy so I guess speculating about who the father will be is useless. lol.

i WAS JUST ABLE to watch it tonight for the first time in a lonnngggg time and when I flipped it on I got a close up of......

Miranda's big huge breastfeeding nipple!! Yeah! She was trying to get her lil one to latch on.

It is one of my guilty pleasures.

I saw it too! They showed her ACTUALLY breastfeeding. It was probably the baby's mother standing in but the baby was actually nursing at one point. I was so happy. I wasn't sure if they'd have Miranda breastfeed since last season was all about how unmotherly she is. But the whole thing was fairly positive. Carrie was squeamish about it all but that's about it. Miranda went about it like it was all completely natural--which of course it is! I was very happy.

I must say I love Steve! He is so loving, eager and fabulous with the baby. Just like a new proud pop.

Arduinna, I'm so glad you posted this. Now you'll all be outed. We don't do cable, but I'm a huge fan. I'll have to tune out what you guys say about this season. What are some of your favorite episodes? My alltime favorite--Samantha and the funky spunk!!!!!!

BTW, this is not a guilty pleasure for me but something I'm quite proud of!

I thought it was a great first episode. I like how they dealt with the changes in friiendships, since I think most every mom goes through that. I was dying when the cop stopped Samantha when she was posted the flyers of Richard. That was too funny, I was dying when she said "go ahead". lol.

All in all a satisfying season premier. I am annoyed that they are doing so few episodes this season.

hmmm, my favorite episodes. It is so hard to pick. I love then one when Big come to see Carrie at the country house. And he and Aiden get in the fight and are then almost best buds. The fart episode was funny. The one with the french guy who leaves money on the nightstand, oo la la. I could go on but I won't. No guilt here either. I own the first season on DVD. I want the second one too but haven't forked over the cash yet.

Anyone elsed hubby love it too?? My hubby loves watching with me. I think he likes the eavesdropping....

sorry for the double post

Arduinna, YES! Dh and I watch it together-he thinks it's written very well, and says that Samantha reminds him of me when we first met back in NYC. I don't agree, but I'll take it as a compliment...

yes, the lady cop was awesome: "carry on ma'am." i about died!

hmmm. one of my favorite scenes is when carrie's diaphragm gets stuck and samantha has to take it out, and she says "you are buying my dinner for this."

i started a thread on miranda breastfeeding in TAO cuz whenever i post here, it doesn't get much action.

Oh, you are killing me here! We don't have cable and just rent the shows when they finally come out on video, and I haven't even gotten to see last season's shows! I love Sex and the City, and my dh does too. You should have seen how excited he was when second season came out on video. Part of it is that we just moved out of NYC and love glimpses of our hometown, but we love everything about it.

edited to delete double post -- I have no idea how that happened

Why is Miranda so freakin rude to Steve?

I love Sex and the City (dh hates it) I love, love, loved that Miranda is bfing. I know it isn't going to be a major theme on the show or anything, but I believe television like that really does influence people and hopefully, that will make others see it as a natural, normal thing ~ cuz it is

I thought the season premier was great, I finally just got to see it last night so I am late on this. Pretty funny that almost all the girls showed thier tatas

This shows you what a geek I am--I bought TV Guide for the first time ever because it listed all of the episodes by season, and who wrote them, plus ratings. It's actually quite handy for someone who doesn't get to see it on HBO...

hey tupelohoney, did you know that sarah jessica parker has a strict "no nudity" clause in her contract? that is why we will never see her "ta tas" as you put it!
won't it be fun to see how they disguise her blossoming belly? i figure that's why she wore that voluminous black dress to the navy party. at least this season i won't cry every time i see her unbelievably flat stomach.

And doesn't SJP look amazing pregnant? She's so beautiful...I actually did a doubletake when I heard her voice coming out of this gorgeous woman talking to David Letterman. I think she's proof that you can be too thin....her face looks much better with a little extra weight.

I haven't seen the premier (I knew there was something I meant to watch) but my favorite episode is when Carrie realizes she still loves Aidan and she goes to his window...and then he comes to hers and runs up the stairs to her apartment. Yowza!

I'm so lame I've even been watching 'Single in the City' on WE to get my quasi-fix of Sex and the City! LOL!

i got my "good cable" back this week after months w/o it because i couldn't bear to miss this season... bad enough i had to miss the last few episodes of Six Feet Under (& w/ the phenominal Lili Taylor on them to boot!)... i can't afford this, i can't even figure out what expense we're going to rearrange so that we can manage to pay for this, but i'm not sure i care!

I agree that Sarah Jessica looks fabulous pregnant! Before, I would comment to dh that she was starting to look old because she had such a hard look to her face, I guess from being too thin. She looks great now, a little bit of weight has softened up her features a bit and I really think she looks so much prettier! Oh, and the short hair...LOVE IT!

I'm getting ready to watch it in a 1/2 hour. I love Miranda and no sin and "no judgments about people dead or not dead, lol"

I think Sarah Jessica looks great pg also. I think the little extra weight (for her) looks great!!
