Do any of you have unique spiritual jewelry?? Doesn't matter what faith or spiritual beliefs you have, I'm just looking for some different ideas.

Thanks in advance

I've got my tattoos which are permanent jewellery Each part means something to me.

I s'pose if you mean removeable jewellery.

I've got my pentagram, which is self explanatory, it's made of silver & is interlocking. It really is interlocking rather than being cast with lines scratched in the right places to make it look like it interlocks.

I've got a whale bone carving. It's a real whale bone. When the dead whales get washed up on the beaches over here, carvers get the jaw bones. They also dig bones up every now & then. Mine was definitely an ethically sourced piece. It's a single manaia which is an ancient Maori mythical creature. They have a bird's head & the body of a human & are the messengers between the spirit & real worlds. They are also symbols of protection.

The other carving I've got is a green stone poenamo(sp?) which is a fish hook ( hei-matau ). It represents the fish hook that the god Maui pulled the world into existence out of the sea with.

My other piece of jewellery which has spiritual meaning in my moonstone ring. I made it. It's a large square cut piece of rainbow moonstone, set over black paper. It's my dark moon ring. dd#2 was concieved on the dark moon on that massive planetary line up we had in may 2000 so it is for her.

I believe in the healing energy of stones. Amber and turquoise are my favorites.

Well, sometimes Mormons wear CTR rings--symbolizing Choose the Right. Not for any religious symbolism so much as a reminder.

This made me LOL...I have told my husband on many occasions that I can not make up my mind what my religion is, but man, the pagans and the wiccans really have some excellent jewelry!

That being said, my favorite piece right now is a triple moon sterling silver ring with a carnelian stone in the middle representing the "mother". It's so pretty.

For sentimental reasons, I love my pretty gold cross with a teeny diamond on it-got it from one of my parents' friends for my first communion ( a zillion years ago!). Also got gorgeous blue crystal rosary beads for the same occasion, but those aren't jewels..very pretty though...

Can't wait to hear others' responses...I do love jewelry!

Well I do have my pentacle with quartz hanging from it. But my favorite is my sun pendant with gold mother of pearl in the center.

I have this tiny round gold charm with Mary on it holding Jesus. I bought it inside Notre Dame. It's very small and delicate because I don't like big gawdy stuff. I love it because not only does it represent my faith for me but also my wonderful first trip to Europe where my dh came from.

I have a cartouche with my name on it that is special to me. For those that don't know- a cartouche was the way that aking or queens name was written in ancient egyptian heirpglyphs, it is encircled with an oval.

I have a pentagram that dh bought me a few years ago. It's really pretty, has flowers and ivy that wrap around it.

I have been really wanting a Goddess necklace so bad. I have been feeling that I have changed in so many ways after I had my baby and that I am a new woman. It's actually the first symbol that I have felt this strong of a calling toward. I just have to wait until we have the money though. LOL.

My baby girl has a tiny coral bead bracelet that was a gift from a friend in New Mexico who bought it from a Hopi who said it is a protective charm.

I have a blue glass bead from Turkey that protects against the evil eye.

I have a small silver charm from Mexico shaped like a leg that a friend gave me to keep my legs strong for hiking.

I have a gold ring that symbolizes my commitment to my family.

I have a Tibetan necklace with an image of the endless knot.

I have an enamel butterfly pin that belonged to my grandmother who is dead now and when I wear it I remember her.

I have a moonstone with a silver crescent moon over it which I wear almost all the time.

I had a little pregnant mother Goddess that I wore during my pregnancy.. plan to bury it with my placenta.

I have a silver hand with a blue crystal in it, to invoke the protection of Lillith.

I have a crystal wand on a silver choker that I bought when I had throat problems.

Most of my jewelry has meaning to me, but I guess those are my overtly spiritual pieces.

I have a lovely set of prayer beads, but they are not for wearing. They are held in the hand to count while praying/meditating on the name(s) of God...

I have something similar to boobybooby. I have a very small, Mary charm that I wear alot. When I have it close to me, I am reminded of her strength as a mother and it gives me peace, strength and hope (especially on those frustrating days of motherhood)

Warmly~

the wedding ring that my husband and I made together and the other ring that he made for me.

The wedding ring has a leaf that I made floating on a ring of vines that my husband made. We designed it together (at a bar waiting for laundry to dry) and then made it together. I find it to be very spiritual and powerful. Every thing about it has significance. Since we are jewelers and blacksmiths, we were able to make it out of heavy gold so it will last a long long long time. The rings also reflect the deep spirituality that we find in nature.

The other ring that he made for me is similar, but all forged to shape. I think there is great power in forging with a mission in mind. In this case, the maker (dh) hammered his love into the ring.

I made a beautiful viney, leafy silver pentagram pendant for my brother once, at his request. It's sad now because I never see it in his possession anymore. I don't care if he wears it, but I'd like to know that he cares for it. Again, I tried to forge a lot of love, and prayers for guidance and protection into it.

DH and I shared the cost of my first pentacle a few years ago, a sterling looks interlocking with several oak leaves and a couple of acorns around and on it.

The one I wear almost all the time is the same design in copper. I don't know why, but the less valuable metal speaks more to me. The color is unique because I keep it nail polished so it doesn't completely tarnish brown or verdigris green, but is all three colors.

I also keep my knotwork wedding ring on the same chain. When my finger fits it again, that's where it will return.

When I'm dressing up I wear an amber necklace with some turquoise beads with pendants spaced around: a bone bear in front-with my silver pent usually, a holey stone a friend picked up in Wales, a silver harp, some other round pendants, some not round small pendents, a Fatima medal from Dad's mom(dated same year as DH's birth!), a Madonna medal I always wore in my teens....Almost everything on this is something given to me sometime in my life, or that I might've given myself in a couple of cases... They all have meaning and history. When I made the necklace it turned out that all the pendants I wanted to include paired up in size or shape such that it is symmetrical!

Don't get me started! Can we talk?

I love art, but didn't get the jewelry bug until about 7 yrs ago. Then there was no looking back, unfortunately. I think all my jewelry has spiritual significance, but my dh does not agree LOL!

I have a yin/yang pendant in 2 shades of green jade.

A silver egg pendant with enamel and crystals in shades of blue and purple.

A necklace of turquoise nuggets with a rectangular silver pendant with NA symbols for hope, love and peace.

A stylized lotus pendant in silver with a CZ stone.

Bee pins of many sizes and styles (bees are symbolic of many positive things).

A sterling triquetra pendant, but dd took that over.

A large gold ring with black enamel spirals.

My grandmother's charm bracelet is now mine. It has several Xtian symbols as well as secular ones. Very special.

When one SIL came back from Is-Ra-El a few yrs back, she brought every member of the extended family a small olive wood cross pendant.

My dh has a string of Buddhist rosary beads from the Dalai Lama. They were given to a friend who met His Holiness, who then passed them to dh when he helped him thru a rough time.

Fun thread!

Well, my wedding ring (obviousely) is very spiritual, on so many levels!

-- It is white gold, and it has 12 diamonds. Three small ones on the wedding band. On the engagment ring there in not too big diamond in the midle, and four small ones on either side. It is shape reminisent (sp) of a celtic design.

I wear a beautiful, delicate a ring on my right ring finger. People often ask me if I am divorced because of it.: It was my mother's, before that it was her mother's, and before that it was her aunt's (to whom she was very close.) This ring is, also, obviously spiritual on many levels. I love the thought of this ring being worn by so many women of my family, going back gernerations! So much engery and power!

-- It is gold. It has beautiful line designs, and the dimond is set very high. I have never seen a ring that looks this way.

Dh gave me a ring when he told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his days with me (before he was my DH.) I don't wear it often anymore. Whenever I do wear it someone always coments on how beautiful it is. In fact, I was wearing this once when I was not sure if I was meant to be with him. I was very intersted in another man; Well to do, intellagent, classy, GREAT family, and acent (what more could I ask for?) Well, this mans father (whom loves me, to this day) and I were talking, and he noticed the ring. This man has incredible "intuition"! (call it what you will, this man KNOWS things.) He said to me something like "that is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, it looks like your destiney."
Well, that was that.

-- It has 12 cresent moons (I know, it's one moon short - but I have very little fingers!) The moons have faces (which I love.)

My grandmother just gave me a beautiful necklace from germany. It was given to my grandmother by her godmother when she visited her in germany when she was a young women/child. It is SO beautiful!

-- It is silver with an amber stone. It is very much like the one I wore for my wedding.

Dh just got me these beautiful earrings. They are spiritual enough for that reason.

-- They are the "celtic trinity." I'm not certain of the origional meaning of this symbol, but it has a lot of meaning to me. Any celtic knot is a spiritual symbol, IMO.

I think that rings are very powerful, for many reasons. One of which is that it is a circle. Circles hold power, and are very symbolic.

Until I read this thread I didn't realize that I had much of any spiritual jewlry. Thanks for bringing it up!

Are they a Celtic knot in the shape of a triangle? That is the triquetra, like my pendant. It is a Goddess symbol. The three sides represent the Maiden, the Mother, the Crone. The Celtic knot will protect you, as bad spirits get caught in the unending maze and can't get at you, so they say.

I also have one tattooed on my back! The Goddess, she's got my back.

I bought myself a ring about six month ago. It symbolizes my sense of independence and give me strength. When I am feeling down, I look at it and it reminds me to remain strong and at peace.
