How hard is it to knit this type of soaker? I can knit a little, but need a lot of practice. Making a wool cover is something I'd be interested in, I thought I might start by crocheting one.

The Wooly Wonderpants class is starting Monday. She holds you hand the whole way through so even a person with rudimentary knitting skills can make one.

I'd go for it if I were you. My first ever knitting project was a soaker and it worked out great. I think the class would be fun, too.

I'm in the Wooly Wonder soaker class right now, and it is pretty easy to knit - of course she really does hold your hand! But if you can knit and purl and read a pattern, I'd say you would be able to do it!
