What should I get my mother, my grandma just died tonight

My grandmother died just an hour ago, after a long bout with cancer. I am 8 hours away from my mother and I want her to have something that tells her I love her and to be a rememberance of my grandmother too.

Flowers just seem to temporary and I have thought of a teddy bear but..... I don't know.

I am more sad for my mom and aunt than I am that Grandma is gone.

There isn't going to be a funeral or memorial service just a cremation.

If you could help I would really appreciate it.

I think flowers are okey for a time like this. Does your mother have a favorite flower? Is there a favorite meal you can send to her from a resteraunt near her? Of couse I really feel the best thing she would want is to hear from you. To know you have a daughter who cares so much is the greatest comfort in the world! Bless you both :]

Maybe you could put a picture of your mom and grandmother in a nice frame for her.
