My birth at Special Beginnings was the most positive experience of my life. I had some complications- water breaking 3 days before ctx with light meconium, but it was treated with...
My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
i'm eyeing up some wool jersey to make diaper covers. has anyone used wool jersey before? i don't know if i should use 2 layers or if 1 layer will be enough.
I love wool jersey. First of all I felt the hec out of it by machine washing and drying it in a hot dryer 3 or 4 times. This will thicken it up and then you can decide if you want to use 2 layers. I personal use 2 layers for my girls covers and 1 layer when I make pants. Have fun and happy sewing. And don't forget to thank those industrious little sheep!
Most WAHMs use 2 layers of felted wool jersey. I actually like to use one layer of interlock(outside layer) and a layer of jersey(inside layer). But it's all about personal preference I'd buy a few yds of whatever you want and try it out and see what way YOU like to make them
as in soaker pants? why are you only using 1 layer for the pants?
do you have a good, competitively priced supplier? i'm looking at diapershop.com, but their prices are a little higher than most for hemp (my diaper fabric of choice). i don't know if their wool prices are competitive or not.
