Has anyone tried this? I just got some from my health food store today, but I don't want to take it until I've heard from some people who have taken it. This time I have really bad all day sickness. I took Rainbow Lights Vitamins with my first pregnancy (2nd Trimester on) and was just told about these Rainbow Light Prenatal Good Mornings.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I am taking them right now. I love them because I only have to take one (not 6) per day and they don't seem to upset my tummy any more than not taking them. I also have m/s morning, noon and night. I would recommend them! I have heard that you should take additional calcium with the Rainbow Lights because they are a little "light" on the calcium content. I'm not taking an additional calcium b/c my tummy can't handle it. Good luck and hope it works for you!!

Thanks for the input. I just looked at the bottom of the ingredient list and it has red raspberry leaf listed. It's my understanding that you shouldn't take that in the first trimester. It doesn't do anything for morning sickness, so why would they put that in something made for morning sickess, which most women get in the first trimester?

I liked these. RRL is ok for most women in the 1st trimester. I think it can cause contractions in some in larger amounts.

I know my midwife and health food store lady told me to stay away from RRL because I have a history of m/c. And I know a few people that have had spotting after taking them in early pregnancy.

Mary --I would like to try Rainbows sometime but haven't been able to find them in canada. As for the Red Rasp. I'm with you...after 2 m/c I'm really cautious and I would avoid in the first tri (that's what Susun Weed's Wise Woman Herbal says too)
for the sickness... I just got back from a week's holiday and felt pretty crappy the whole time! But it was still fun
