How many of you can feel your baby move? I can't feel mine yet, and I keep thinking that I should. I might just be more aware of it, though, because the dr warned me that the baby is hiding behind the placenta, so doing kick counts might be more difficult (when I get to that point). A friend told me it is just too early yet, but I don't think so.

i think it might be too early for a first baby but not subsequent. i feel mine move a couple times a week. usually on tues/thurs for some odd reason LOL! and a lot depends on the person. i have a friend who didn't feel her baby until near the 3rd tri due to positioning and placenta issues.

I felt my first at around 15 weeks. It felt like gas bubbles without passing gas. I knew it was movement because I was not passing those bubbles! Oh and it was right around the 4th of July and the fireworks caused a LOT of bubbly feelings!
With this pregnancy I have been feeling movement since about 11.5 weeks. At first I felt what seemed like an ant crawling inside my uterus, just very sporadic very light touching, now at 17 weeks I can feel flips and rolls.
Can you feel your uterus? if you can try taking an ice pack and putting it on your uterus, your baby will move away from the cold, you might feel your baby move that way.
As far as placental position, your placenta will move as your uterus grows.

I do feel something that feels like the baby is turning over when I lie down at night and get still. Kicks are few and far between still, but I know for sure that's what they are when they happen. It's a very unique feeling.
