It's Tsalagi for Red Corn Mother. Selu is the Tsalagi first woman and red corn is my favorite type of corn. Cheesy, but fun. My first daughter will also be a Selu, but most likely Selu Pearl.

My first name is Bonnie and that's what I use in forums in France and Spain. But here... it was already taken, how strange.

Still I wanted something that would sound like a real name and would be easy to pronounce and remember. So I figured out I'd just mix up my initial with my middle name Elodie (French).

Even though my daughter weaned when she was 2, with a new baby on the way I thought the name was fitting. Plus, I continue to provide milk on demand, it's just in a sippy cup LOL!

I've been using ElektroChik for over 2 years now.

My boyfriend and I are into all types of electronic music (we used to go dancing every weekend before I became pregnant) and he actually writes music. So, he gave me the name ElektroChik and I gave him TeknoNerd.

The K's are because my name is Kristina with a K and I incorporated that into the spelling.

I just wanted something easy to remember, so I took my first name, Amy, and combined it with my college mascot, which is an angel. Thus, AmyAngel. I've used variations of it for years online in various places. I'm thinking maybe I should have picked something more meaningful and descriptive. Oh well!

My very first online ID (when I was a kid) was Princess, on Compuserve CB back in the early 80's! (My aunt was ahead of her time, technologically, I think, and we chatted online with people when I would visit her!)

It's the same as my yahoo groups username. mommy b/c that's who/what i am and kmm 'cause those are my initials.

i'm named for my great grandmother. i'm hoping to honor her with my life, though i don't know much about her. two generations apart, we birthed "illegitimate" baby girls. her road was rougher than mine, i imagine. she had no choice but to give up her baby, i chose to keep mine, and had love and support in doing so. i believe i'll have any grandkids i have call me nana laura.
i'm also toying with granny laura. i've never met my mother-in-law, she died in 1985, we married in 1996, but she wanted to be called "granny phyllis". so, i'm trying to decide between the two...

Sagesse is a French word meaning "Wisdom". Abiona is a Yoruban word meaning "Born on a Journey".
So together my name means "Wisdom born on a journey"

There is an ice cream and sandwich shop near us called Temptations (in Wilmington, DE) that I took my friends to one time - they have these AMAZINGLY decadent adult-styled ice cream concoctions (coffe ice cream, dry walnuts, chocolate sace and malt with whipped cream and a cherry is one!) Anyway, my friends were so impressed that they took my name and the store name and combined them! Hence, TemptingTatiana! It's just stuck!

VNE (Should be capital "V" with subscript "NE") is the acronym for Velocity Never Exceed, or the maximum safe airspeed for a given airplane. Past_VNE is an in-jest reference to driving too fast.
