LOL, true that wouldn't work, but it would be worse if you had two S's at the end of that A

Niamh (pronounced Neeve) was the name of one of my riding students when I lived in Ireland. I still remember on the first day of class, brand new there from America saying "Neeamh? Neeamh? Is there a Neeamh here?" and all of the girls in the class looking at me blankly until they realized the name I was trying to say and collapsing into giggles. I've always thought it was a beautiful name.

Way back in 1988 --Gosh, Really that long ago!? -- I was Crowned Miss 1928 by The Art Deco Society of California at their Gatsby Summer Picknick. (It's a 1920s themed event with everyone in Vintage attire, antique cars, dancing the Charleston and a Bathing Beauty Revue.) So I have sort of taken that on as one of my Identities. Because of The ADSC I will always be Miss 1928.

My DH says that when I use Miss 1928 as a user name it makes me sound Really REALLY old, like well over 90 years old but I was 20 in 1988, so, even though 20 years ago seems like a really long time, I just don't feel that old.

Here is a photo from 2006 of a bunch of us "Former Misses", (I'm the one in the red bathing suit with the big red bow in my hair. I'm four months preggers in this photo.)

And here are more photos from 2006

Readermaid is short for Lovely Mindy Reader Maid, which is my email address. I love to read and my name is Mindy. My husband and I are huge Beatles fans, and he started singing this version of "Lovely Rita Meter Maid." That's usually too long for usernames, so it became Readermaid on here and on Twitter.

my family plays online games (MMORGPs) and in one game, my eldest son was playing a creature handler (person with pet who uses pet to do all the fighting) in most MMOs the pet is given a random name by the server. My son's pet's name was Smibbo. He liked that name so much he started using it to name other pets.

I was making a character for a new game and I said "what should I name it?" and my son ans his best friend said "you should name it Smibbo! Smibbo is the best name in the world!" so I did

I ended up loving that character and the name. No one else has it. So now I use it for everything online.

...oh and my lisence plate says "smibbo" too - husband gave that to me as a gift!

I chose my name because my husband and I love to go to concerts. Music is an object of both learning and enjoyment in our home, and I believe that the experience of live music creates moments that live with you and your family for the rest of your life.

LOL! good stories! Mine is kinda long winded but when my son was very little (he has Asperger's) he didn't sleep well - his natural sleeping rhythms are off. He would randomly get up at night and just wander through the house. My brother was visiting and we had a particularly bad night where my son got up and started getting into things but I didn't hear him. He poured out soaps/shampoos (his obsession), took stuff out of the drawers. I would clean up one mess and put him to bed only to find him into something else! I started yelling at my brother to come help me (corral baby while I clean) and he says back to me (he's in the next room 4 feet away) "INSTANT MESSAGE ME when you need help." .......

I couldn't believe what he said. I thought to myself this is complete anarchy. And hence I ran to my computer, made an email Latenightanarchy (it was after all 3am) and IM'd him. 'COME HELP ME WITH THE BABY' He IM'd me back, 'is this you?' To which I shouted across the hallway, of course it's me you idiot, and he came and helped. LOL! It's been my screen name everywhere I go since then.
