Greenfrogs,

Way to go on losing 16 pounds! That's fantastic, and I bet you feel great!

I think that looking at weight loss as changing your life style and eating habits is the best way to go. Since leaving home ten years ago I've really relished in my freedom to eat what I want, when I want it. That means pb&j's all the time! LOL AND I get to buy what I want. So, I'm trying really hard to buy what's good for me. For a long time I've used my daughter as an excuse because I have things for her in the house that are tempting to me. Last week DH and were talking about our dinner schedule (I can't believe what a difference it makes for me to plan my dinners out two weeks in advance! I actually made dinner-a healthy dinner-every single night last week) and I was sharing w/ him how hard it was for me to stay out of her snacks. We decided that we wanted our daughter eating well also....so why have those things in the cupboard at all? Why would we want to feed her something we wouldn't eat ourselves. So, we've stocked up on fruits, veggies and other healthier foods this week, we'll see how it goes. Nicole tends to enjoy things like that more than the cookies and crackers anyway...so, I think she'll be fine.

It sounds like you're making some pretty big and good changes in your life-excercise, better eating etc. I hope I'm on my way to that as well.

An update on me-I excercised this morning, again! I'm so excited and I hope week 2 for me goes as well as week 1 did!
