This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I must second the first review! Michelle rocks!!! She helped me when I was setting up both my sites & learning the ropes. She offers a lot for a low price. I love the froogle submit, packing slip creation & gift registry. She answered my question or solved my problems in hours or if it takes longer she lets me know.

troubled
I paid Michelle at Watersweb $150 to incorporate a cart (and hire a designer) but after they started the work they said the "design" only included the header and footer. I *never* would have knowingly hired someone to do only that for $150. Anyway, over a month later, since they insisted they have already done all I asked them to do (which is certainly not the case) I have had to have someone else finish the work.Overall a horrible experience to pay that much money and not get anything.

Yes, we did have a misunderstanding over the scope of the project. My subcontractor and I went out of our way to complete the project to the specifications requested by the client over the course of a month, despite the misunderstanding. We are 100 percent satisfied that we completed each request made by the client, in a professional manner and with work that meets current design standards.
As we were completing project, including additional work requested of us that clearly fell outside the scope of a design project (for no extra charge), the client requested services on the same site from another designer. We reviewed our work to date, and decided at that point that we'd completed the project to the specifications laid out to us in our email conversations with the client and in threads on this forum (and as evidenced by those threads). We told the client that we felt we were done with the project.
We did not hear back from the client until one month later -- almost two months after we had initiated the project -- at which point we were told that she had hired someone else to redo the entire project.
Please be advised (those of you who are reading this thread) that when you hire a web designer, you need to make it extremely clear what your expectations are. Most professional web designers, when presented with a scope change of this nature after a project has started, will submit a change order to you including a significant price increase.
Also, if your designer tells you that she's done with the project, and you do not agree with her, let her know immediately. And do not ask someone else to redo the project before you consult with the designer to find out specifically what she can do to complete the project to your specifications. Chances are, under these circumstances, you will be able to work together to obtain an equitable resolution.

I have been so pleased with Michelle's excellent service and supportive guidance during the last year as I've launched our website. Things have SO improved for the better in my life once I got my site up and running...and it was virtually foolproof...I totally put it together all by myself. And I hate writing code!
I met Michelle online when I was searching for a web host and an ecommerce solution for the products I wanted to sell online. Typically, hosts will sell you access to hosting and commerce software but not offer any information about marketing. Marketing my products online is a whole different ballgame than selling products at a brick and mortar store. Meeting Michelle was probably the best thing to happen to my online business, because working with her has opened my eyes to a whole world of marketing that I’d never even considered.
And, most importantly, she made it easy for me to see that online marketing is really pretty simple, straightforward, and easy for anyone to do. I have seen our sales gradually and steadily grow for over a year now, and I foresee continued growth of sales in the future. I am just thrilled that I found Michelle to help me with the basics of online commerce. Additionally, I have watched Michelle’s own business grow and change in the last year, and I’ve learned from seeing that process as well.
Just by implementing the strategies Michelle recommends, my site paid for itself the first month and has continued to do so in the year since. Additionally, I easily see about $200 net weekly profits during peak season, all with very very little efforts on my part.
I just can't say enough good stuff. She's saved my butt a coupla times, too
