White stuff on tongue

nak..when is white on tongue ok and when is it thrush? i was sore for one day then we fixed it so nips are fine now---not in pain. thomas has white stuff on his tongue--what's the verdict?

I would say it is and treat accordingly, especially if it doesn't come off. I dont' think there is always pain involved for mom, or right away anyway.

DD had it on her tongue for a while before I started to get pain so I started to treat it right away as it can be horrible to get rid of (I had it most of DS's first year and it was miserable!!!). A week later and we have no symptoms, although I'm still doing the suppliments to ensure it doesn't come back anytime soon!
