I am 28.5 weeks with baby #5.

I started this pregnancy a good 10+ pounds over my ideal weight, which since I'm only 5' tall to start off with is a bigger "proportion" than for someone taller. I REALLY don't want to gain too much, because my sister is getting married in April, and I'm her matron of honor. I know I'll probably look a bit matronly, but...

Normally I don't obsess about weight, but I have been keeping track. I just hit 152 lbs recently and I wasn't all that happy about it.

Then this past week God sent two sweet angels...
Seriously though these wonderful kind women each said to me on 2 different occasions that I look really great, I look like *I* have lost weight, and it's "all baby!" Wasn't that the sweetest thing to say??? So many people seem to like to tell PG women how HUGE they look. Gee as if we didn't KNOW that, when we can't see our shoes anymore. It was really cool to get positive comments.

May all of you who are feeling big find such kind people in your life. And remember everyone gains weight differently during PG! Don't be too quick to compare yourself with others. Do the best you can, try to exercise since it helps you both with weight gain AND with overall wellbeing, AND when it's labor time, and if the scale is stressing you out, PUT IT AWAY!

Enjoy your pregnancy. Stress is not good for you or for your sweet baby!
