To get the shot or not...that is the question...

Ok, so I made the decision 7 yrs. ago when our first child was born not to vaccinate. Well....every year since then I have gotten the flu sooooo bad!! My husband not once. Me sicker than a dog every year. Last year I got my three children and myself the flu shot and not one of us got sick! It was my best year EVER (in relation to the flu virus). So now my dilema is...do I get it again??? or no??? Was it just a fluke??? I went back to all my old reading materials and focused on why I chose not to vaccinate in the first place. Then, I thought about getting the flu again. I'm leading toward my flu shot, but feeling a bit hippocritical (sp?). Any insight you may have would be of the greatest help! Thank you all for your time.

Maybe focus on why you are getting sick instead.
Try building your immune system with probiotics, proper vitamin intake, vitamin c, and most importantly whole, live foods.

This is a quote from RussellBlaylock's paper 'What They Don’t Tell You About Vaccination Dangers Can Kill You or Ruin Your Life'. It's a VERY interesting read. I don't know if anybody has posted it or not. I have it in Word format. It's not on his webpage, www.russellblaylockmd.com, I don't think. I'll try to share it somehow if I find that nobody else has ever uploaded it here, if that's possible.

"A recent study by the world-renowned immunologist Dr. H. Hugh Fudenberg found that adults vaccinated yearly for five years in a row with the flu vaccine had a 10-fold increased risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. He attributes this to the mercury and aluminum in the vaccine. Interestingly, both of these metals have been shown to activate microglia and increase excitotoxicity in the brain. "

i would revisit my reasons for not vaxxing in the first place.

if it is the ingredients, fluvax is probably one of the ickiest in terms of what is in it ( still contains thimerosol)

I would just add ther chances that last year's flu shot helped much are slim to none. They were off in guessing which strain to use last year, so the shot was useless in most cases. Though of course they claim the strains were similar enough to offer some protection I doubt it. Perhaps you were extra careful last winter - or were not exposed, OR your immune system has grown strong enough to fight it off as a result of your repeated exposures. At any rate - I would be more wooried about my long term heath - and tho the flu is not pleasant, for most healthy people it is without complications, and side effects. Good luck, remember the flu shot will have thimerosal containing and thimerosal free versions this year. Though thimerosal is not the only undesireable ingredient.
