Help! I Really Want To Have My 3rd Baby Freeborn. My Only Concern Is I Had A prolapsed Uterus With My 2nd Baby. My Entire Family Is Confident Someting Will Go Wrong. I'm Fairly Sure They Are Wrong, But They Put Some Doubt In My Mind. If I'm Remmbering Correctly My Dr. At The Time ( My Aunt) Had A Lot To Do With The Prolapse But Now Claims I'm Crazy. Any Way, If I Could Get Some Thoughts On Prolapsed Uterus And Why That Happens Or Just Some Positive Thoughts Would Be Helpful. Thanks LAURA

From what I understand a prolapse is really no reason for concern. The main issue is discomfort until the uterus is big enough to rest on the pelvic bones 16-18 weeks, and preterm labor. I have been dealing with a self diagnosed prolapse since my dd's freebirth in July. There are many things to do to try and improve the strength of your pelvic floor. nak so let me know if you would like any of the info I have gathered.

No See, My Uterus Actually Came Outside Of My Body Inside Out Like A Sock. I Lost Over Half The Blood In My Body. Perhaps I've Been Told The Wrong Name For It. I Would However Like Any Information On Improving My Pelvic Floor. I Think That Would Be Helpful Info For Anyone To Have. Thanks Laura

I don't have any info on birth, but you should ask for a referral to a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation.
