I was sitting on the couch nursing the baby (okay, so she's past a year now, but still....) and toddler (26 months) comes up.
"I want nilk too."
"Okay, honey, but can you wait for your sister to finish?"
"Okay Mommy"
Infant unlatches
"Sissy all done?"
"No, honey, she's just playing, you'll have to be patient for a few more minutes."
<whine>
Infant unlatches again.
"All done NOW?"
"well, not really honey, how about you come and sit right next to Mommy until she is?"
"Okay!"
climbs up on me, kicking me in the leg, pinching her sister's shoulder, being a toddler.
Infant unlatches again....
Toddler doesn't even bother to ask, she does a nosedive for the breast. Latches on. Infant looks at me with this offended face and starts to cry. Toddler turns to see infant (while still holding the nipple in her mouth, I might add!) and sees she's upset. Unlatches. Offers the breast to infant. Infant latches on, unlatches, toddler latches on. This goes on for a few minutes before I start getting antsy about it. I tell them that they need to stop playing or stop nursing. They both start giggling.
Dh says it's like a mother cat, nursing her babies while they each fight for the milk, then offer it up to each other. I had to laugh....
There are some days that tandem nursing my girls sends me through the roof. Not today.

Makes me want another right now!
