HELP! I need a part for an old Elna machine

Well I borrowed my sister-in-laws old machine and Elna Supermatic I think from the 70's and I dropped the foot pedal and it broke!!!!
It was the plastic plug that fits into the machine, it still works but the plastic is broken off on the corner and looks like it will break some more if I'm not super careful.

From my google searches it looks like I'm up the creek trying to get a replacement part. anyone have any ideas?
