I have a family member who let her dh decide whether or not to circ (they did) despite all the info I have sent. Now she is preggo with another boy. Do I go ahead and try again and send them links and info or do I resign myself to their ignorance? I feel so bad! Their excuse was they want him to look like his dad! GRRR...

They will use the same excuse to now have the next boy match in mutilation status as father and brother.It is unlikely anything you send will sway them. It would certainly do no harm to send material. I really don't bother anymore with direct discussions,but I do have links in my email signatures to circ info.

All you can do is try. What can it hurt? Worst case they circ again, which is what they were planning on doing anyway. I know several mamas IRL who won't circ a second although they did their first, and there are many mamas here in the same boat.
