A very tentative hello

Hi everyone! I've been lurking around here for the past few weeks, hoping to join you, and now I'm ready to come forward . Anyway, I posted over in fertility about the fact that I've been 'feeling' pg, have missed a period, but haven't had a +hpt. Well, I'm on cd 46, have some nausea, and a bunch of other symptoms, (I've even made a mw app't) so I think I'm ready to feel like it's official. It is so weird though, not having a positive test -- I probably tested too early, and now dh insists I wait until SUNDAY to test again!!! Yikes! Anyway, having lost my last pregnancy and experiencing awful reactions from family (my mom, mil and dh's uncle to name a few) we've decided to wait a while to tell anyone irl. Also, I want to wait until either a +hpt or my mw visit to really be sure I'm not imagining all this! But I'd really like to start chatting with you all, hoping to share the next nine months together on MDC! Take care all!

Aww, thanks guys!

Jenn, you are totally right! I should just trust my body! It's ironic, really, because I am always so skeptical of anything 'medical', yet there's something about those two little lines . . . Anyway, I will keep you guys posted re: "The Sunday Test" :

Hollyhobbie, thanks for your condolensces. Also, I noticed that about the BC mom thing -- it actually encouraged me to post! (I figured maybe there really is something in the water and I am pg! Just kidding -- well, maybe not too much! I'm such a dork!)

Anyhow, thanks for the welcome! I look forward to meeting, and getting to know, everyone!

oh yeah and you dont want to know how much i spent on hpts this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! every day i would go to the store and get another box and ofcourse a box of blues clues bandaids or rubber turtle or whatever my dtr spotted b/c i felt so guilty. i mean it wasnt exactly a child-centred activity!!! i am serious i bought um 7 or 8 boxes most with a couple of tests in there. even when i got a faint line on clear blue easy, i insisted we go buy another test so i could take a clear pic b/c cassia has a clear pic of hers!! and i wouldnt buy the damn digital one b/c that is what i used when i miscarried so i thought it was jinxed. probably would have saved me a lot of money. i think i tried every kind they sell!! but i did get my clear pic in the end!! all this even though i knew i was pg and was chartin with a beautiful clear triphasic chart!!!!! so dont wait til sunday. see if you can get a walmart one b/c they are cheap and i think they work ok. not that i used one b/c they were all out!!!!
