My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I listened...
That sucks that norm had his son circed, but at least it gave Stern the opportunity to speak out against it. He called it "a mutilation". Yeah! I was a little bit disappointed at the end though, when they were talking about "most" boys being circed in the US and Canada...The part about Canada wasn't true, and I wish they would have tossed some statistics out about the US rate approaching 50/50. I think it's wonderful that Stern opposes RIC, but I really wish he'd learn more about it so he's got better ammunition.Jen

Howard's been hanging out at some forums like this one and it's gotten a bee in his bonnet. He wanted to speak out about it and I think deliberately guided the conversation in that direction. It didn't just mysteriously wander off topic on a tangent of circumcision. It's also apparent that Norm has been reading up on it a bit too. He knew more than the average Joe on the street.
While they didn't get their facts 100% straight and historically correct, at least they are reading up and are bringing it to the attention of millions of people and I have to take my hat off to them even though Norm wasn't exactly comfortable talking about it and wasn't exactly comfortable admitting he circumcised his son. Kudos for Stern!

An old one. (I can tell because Howard doesn't like Bush anymore and is a big Kerry supporter now)
