the color is really off in the pics (at least on my 'puter). the colors are actually autumn-like colors of burgendy/green/eggplant purple.

yep, it's crocheted. it's a knock off of the shawl Jessica Simpson wears. she bought hers in a store in New York City for $195.

after i got the hang of the stitch pattern, it was easy. i timed myself: each flower took 1 min 15 seconds. LOL!

i'm so proud of myself!! i made it as a christmas gift for my sister. i can't believe i'm finished.

i think it took 2 weeks. but i only have a chance to crochet about 2 hrs/day after ds goes to sleep. and i'd consider myself a beginner (read: slow! LOL!). my aunt taught me to crochet when i was little and recently picked it up again as a way to wind down at the end of the night.
