First Wonderpants finished! - Page 2

Those are so cute! I am sooo jealous of everyone that gets to make longies.

HPY yarn is awesome!!!! I haven't triet the bulky yet- only the worsted merino and it is amazing!!!! I didn't even have to lanolize it and ds can sleep all night in it for about a week before it starts to leak.

So far the colors I've used are paris nights, greenella, oriental sky, chili pepper and citrus. I'll have to post pictures someday. I am totally drooling over the brazil, the berries and the polar moon LOL. One thing I have noticed is the colors are a little brighter in person.

Also, does anyone know where this yarn comes from? I know they ship out of Florida, but its from somewhere in south america, I think. Anywhoo, the owner is super friendly.

Oooh, I've been drooling over the citrus color. How is it in person?
And the berries looks sooo nice! I also really want the rich earth and a whole bunch of other colors! I keep coming up with projects so that I can order more. :LOL I can't wait to get the ones from ebay I won.
I also just got some of this color:
Ebay

For some reason I really love this combo. It reminds me of a mermaid.

Well, I am going to do a huge huge project out of their bulky (or possibly superbulky) merino. It is a wedding gift for my best friend -- two cuddle coats for her and her husband from the "comforts of home" book and, since she just found out that she's pg (woo wee!) a baby blanket. I'm planning on doing them all in the same yarn, but not the same color.

And I love those colors, too, Maeve. I want to try them all!

Well, for these I just measured from the center of her diaper (the cr*tch) down to her ankle. Since the Winderpants cr*tch starts at the center, it made it wasy. KWIM? So really, maybe just dumb luck? I Like knitting stiff that fits and as she outgrows it I am knitting more. I am sure you can relate!

And thanks for the sweet words. These are my favorite thing to reach for at the moment!

Those are beautiful. They are inspiring me to keep up with my knitting practice so that one day I too may knit longies!
