hello everyone, mostly i lurk on here and not post but i wanted to share my wonderful homebirth experience. last saturday, i went into labor at 4:00am, my water broke. i couldn't beleive it because i was a week early and my last baby had been a late one. i tried to sleep for a while but when i couldn't anymore i got up and made myslef a little busy, i finished sewing a diaper. my midwife came and checked me around 9:00am and i was two centimeters. at 11 i told my husband to call but he didn't think i was ready. i knew i was. i told him after every contraction. finally at 12.20 the midwife calls and she hears me contracting and says she'll be right over. at 1:00, when she got there, i was fully dialated.(Sp?) i pushed for one hr, and my boy came out. i enjoyed pushing. i was joking with the birth team in between pushes. anyway. the whole experience was great. my husband coached me through each contraction. the endorphins were wonderful!!! my sons name is edison asher, and he was 7lbs 15 0z. good luck to all you ladies ready to deliver.

congratualtions!!!! so wonderful...i hope mine will be that beautiful after some weeks....but... what is endorphins??
