I guess they are more like pants because the wool is really felted. These are nice thick warm pants - which is great because we live in cold rainy Oregon.

My MIL and I totally winged these. We used the direction on the babyluv site, but the waist would have been only 13 inches or so if we hadn't modified things. They turned out really well though.
We ended up using the neck of the sweater as the waist. There is a slight "V" in the front and the Old Navy tag is squarly in the back. I was really surprised things worked out so well
