My daughter is 6 months old and nursing exclusively. I was reading on the archives where someone said that if you dont eat enough calories, your body will think you are starving and will stop losing weight to make sure the baby can survive. Is this true? I seem to only lose when I cut calories even though I am nursing a ton and eat super healthy foods, 99% of the time. I am down to 9 pounds left to lose, seems to be getting a little tougher. I read so much stuff about this subject that seems to conflict. If I am eating between 1400 and 1800 cals a day, is this enough? Some weeks I lose, some weeks I dont. But I would hate to think eating too little is slowing it down. Does anyone have any knowledge about this?If its true, I will be happy to eat more!
