Belly Shots, ladies? - Page 9

DH was pretty hesitant about the tile at first. He thought it was kind of 70s, but once it was grouted it turned out so sharp. He should know by now to trust me...LOL.

Monica - the tile looks fabulous! you were right, hubby should trust your instincts! love the belly cast, esp on your husband (hee hee!).

38 weeks today. Whew. New pic is posted over at the baby's page... I'm pleased to say I now look like i've consumed a basketball.

excellent shot, Joy! I told you in the weekly thread that I've thought you looked pregnant for ages now, but congrats on the swallowed basketball look!

I posted my 36-week photo today.

Thanks, Kate! I miss you on the one thread! (But I sometimes lurk over in UC!)

I've posted two new photos - one of the u/s we had done to confirm the position (at 37 weeks, neither mw could say 100% what was where...I mostly knew the baby hadn't flipped, but wanted everyone to go into the hb situation with confidence, so I let them do a quick u/s), and one from this week, at 38 weeks. Don't think it looks much different from 2 weeks ago...

btw, they were able to get a face shot because although spine was anterior, the head was turned. whew!

Oh Hevea! What a beautiful face shot of your sweet babe!! You must be in love, because I fell in love just looking at her/him! Sooo sweet. And I must say your lazy-boy looks absolutely luxurious! So glad to hear you lurk on the uc board.

Heve: That is an amazing US picture! Wow! It's almost crystal clear I wish I had a face shot of this babe, but I haven't had an U/S since week 19 and there is no chance now of me getting one. That is a picture to cherish You look great!!!

:LOL When I read that, I first thought you were referring to the baby, and was about to say, "boy? you think so?!" duh. Briefly forgot about my lazy-boy pics...hee hee

Thanks for the compliments and love - it is a pretty cool shot. I've never understood, myself, personally, the connection other mamas make when they see their u/s pics. The images from my 20-week us didn't do much for me. No doubt mostly due to my stress over whether or not to have one, etc...but this one did get a reaction from me...getting so close now to meeting this sweet babe!
