Someone gave me a pack of dried figs saying "they are good for babies".... but I am clueless about what I do with them. Just cut them up in small pieces and add to dd's (14-mo) food, or are there any special recipes?
Pls enlighten me....:

Does she eat cereal? I used to soak dried figs in hot (boiling) water for 15 minutes and then puree them and add them to Eli's oatmeal when he was a baby.

Figs are yummy, dried or fresh.

Thanks, jeanie, but dd wld not eat cereal. She hates mushy food for some reason. I tried cutting it up into small pieces n feeding them to her n she spit them right out!!
Maybe I'll end up eating them... ...
